North Star Lodge Cancer Center An example of practice excellence among medium practices

The facility name conjures a mental picture of a beautiful, tranquil lodge in an idyllic lush mountain setting. The 42,000 square foot facility does not disappoint. It is a bi-level structure on approximately five acres. You cross a rough plank bridge, over a bubbling stream to enter the foyer. Young Adult Cancer Support Group

The Young Adult Cancer Support Group will meet Wednesday, September 24th from 11:00 to 12:00. We are meeting in the "Living Room" downstairs, off the hall behind physical therapy. If you don't know where that is, don't worry; there will be help around to help you find it. Feel free to bring support people - friends and family - as well.

Please bring questions about coping with treatment, side effects, and life changes as well your answers and successes. Hope to see you there!

Women's Cancer Support Group - For women dealing with child raising, employment, self-image, and changing relationships along with cancer treatment. The group meets on the Fourth Wednesday of each month at 11:00 a.m. in the lower level of North Star Lodge. Caregivers are also welcome to attend.

For some months now, North Star Lodge has been holding monthly seminars at lunchtime.... Learn at Lunch - Education program designed to help our patients and community learn more about all aspects of cancer and treatments. Seminars are held at 12:00 noon and a light lunch is provided.
